I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Cell Biology (Departamento de Biologia Celular / CEL) of the
University of Brasilia (Universidade de Brasilia / UnB) since december 1997. I defended my Ph.D. thesis on
May, 1997 at the Biophysiscs Program, Brandeis University,
under the advise of Prof. Thomas C. Pochapsky.
I worked for one year (2001-2002) as a visiting scholar in the group of
Prof. Eugene Shakhnovich at
Harvard University.
